YMCA Offers Services to Families Affected by the Mandated Closing of a Northland Child Care Center
The YMCA of Greater Kansas City hopes to reach out to the families affected by the mandated closing of a Northland child care center. To help ease their burden, the YMCA will waive the registration fee and offer them a free week of child care. As always, financial assistance is available for families who are unable to pay the full fee.
There are two Northland locations with limited openings. Families are encouraged to call:
- The YMCA Maple Woods Early Learning Center (3100 NE 83rd St on Maple Woods Community College campus) at 816-468-8780.
- The YMCA Burlington Early Learning Center ( 2701 Burlington in North Kansas City) at 816-221-2767.
YMCA of Greater Kansas City's early education programs provide excellent care for children six-weeks through Pre-Kindergarten. The curriculum at our early childhood learning centers is designed to offer enrichment child care, catering to families that value education beyond traditional child care. We provide an engaging environment for your child to explore activities in literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, arts, technology, healthy habits and social, moral and spiritual development. All YMCA child care programs are state licensed.

Don't Miss Funday Sunday Pool Parties
