In their annual list of the fittest cities, the American Fitness Index ranked Kansas City 28th out of 50 cities. So it goes without saying, we're firmly in the middle of the pack.
The rankings are done on a number of factors including the health of a city's citizens and the city's environmental factors like the number of recreation centers and parks. (You can view the full report here.)
