A native of Mount Ayr, IA, he holds a degree in exercise and sport science from Iowa State University. In his free time, he enjoys live music, playing the guitar, sports and croquet.

Sadie Birchard - Aquatics Director

Sadie has been the Aquatics Director at the Providence YMCA/Ball Family Center since summer 2014 but she's worked at the Providence Y since 2009 in a variety of roles including Lead Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, Swim Coach, Water Aerobics Instructor and a Lifeguard/CPR Instructor. "Aquatics safety is an important part of my life and I want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to include that in their lives," Sadie said. Outside of Aquatics, she is part of the Y's Togetherhood community, which invites Y members to activate their social responsibility by participating in the Y’s cause to strengthen community through volunteer opportunities. In her free time, she enjoys being with friends and family and watching college sports--especially the University of Kansas Jayhawks.

Danielle Hemingson - Healthy Living Director

Danielle is a native of Waverly, Iowa. She has attended Buena vista University and the University of South Dakota and holds a BA in Athletic Training and a MA in Kinesiology and Sports Science. She is a certified athletic trainer and also holds certifications as an American College of Sports Medicine certified exercise physiologist and is a  Wellcoaches-certified health and wellness coach. Danielle most recently served as the Prescription Health Coordinator at the YMCA in South Sioux City, NE for three years. "What I like most about my job is how it combines my two passions: healthy living and the science of the human body," she said. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys attending concerts, following cheer and dance and baking.

Winston Lott - Member Engagement Director

Winston joined the Providence team in May 2015 and brings more than 15 years of experience in business-to-business sales and nonprofit program development. A native of Kansas City, Winston also spent several years working and living in Chicago. He holds an MBA from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
