YCare Before and After School and on No School Days: Fun and Enrichment
The YMCA offers YCare before and after school care in the Shawnee Mission, Blue Valley and Olathe school districts.The curriculum appeals to children and at the same time teaches confidence, encourages self-expression and enriches social development. Daily topics include character development, health and wellness, homework support, literature and literacy, arts and humanities, science, technology and more.
Kindergarten children through 12-year-old kids build relationships with our highly skilled, professional staff, which always has the safety and happiness of your child in mind. Parents can relax, secure in the knowledge that their child is happy, safe and well cared for. Programs are fully state licensed.
We also offer YCare through the YMCA's No School Days program in some school districts, including Shawnee Mission, Blue Valley and Olathe. YMCA No School Days provides affordable, quality child care for school age kids on those irregular days when school isn't in session, such as seasonal breaks, conference days and inservice days. YMCA No School Day sites are open in plenty of time for you to drop off your children before work and pick them up afterward. Most importantly, while you're at work, you'll know your child is safe, secure and happy.
