Autism Speaks Grant Funds Challenger

Autism Speaks gave the YMCA of Greater Kansas City a grant for $18,500 to aid the Challenger Program.

The grant will allow the Challenger Program to extend its services to youth ages 16 and up. This will provide new social oppotunities for older youth with Autism.

The new reach of the Challenger Program makes it the first program of its kind in the Kansas City area.

Autsim Speaks is a research organization that has funded over $1.5 million to Autism programs. The additional funds will further the already positive reach of the YMCA Challenger Program.
