The Y offers Certified Personal Training (CPT) instruction, accredited through NASM that can help you become a nationally-certified trainer. Join us at the Cleaver Family YMCA on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m. between June 4 and August 29 to jump start your personal training career! Sign up before June 4 to participate.
Red Cross Babysitter's Training provides youth who plan to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. This training helps participants learn leadership skills, how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old. The training also includes Red Cross First Aid certification.
At the Y, we know parents need a break from time to time. With Kids Night Out, parents enjoy a night out while kids engage in fun and safe activities at the Y. Kids enjoy games, crafts, dinner, swimming and more centered around a unique monthly theme. Member price is $15. Community participant price is $25.
